A Tale of One Photograph and the Power of Post-Processing

I was going through my library of images I took on a recent trip to Poland to photograph Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Oświęcim. One of my favourite images was a long-exposure shot of The Sukiennice or ‘Cloth Hall’ in English. I thought I would share the original RAW file straight out of the camera and what the final image looked like after a few simple changes in Adobe Lightroom. I’ve also added a screenshot of the editing control panel so you can see what changes I made.

I’d love to read what you have to say about the changes. Critiques — both positive and negative are encouraged and your tips and tricks are encouraged in the comments section.

Here’s the final version:Sukiennice (Cloth Hall), Krakow, Poland.
