Lewis Hamilton

The sights. The sounds. This was my first opportunity to shoot an F1 event and I wasn’t disappointed! Shooting race cars at speeds of 200 MPH was certainly a challenge. There were two types of images I wanted to capture. The first was fairly straightforward. I wanted to capture the cars coming towards me as if I was standing on the track in order to get a sense of how tightly they’re built around the driver. The second type, and most important in my mind, was to shoot the cars to illustrate how fast they’re moving. To see how I did, check out these images. Let me know what you think.
